Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has admitted the club cannot afford Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho wage demands.

Napoli have been struggling to find a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Who was sold to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record €70m. But have been unable to meet Antonio Conte’s demands. And have been forced to sign Noah Okafor on loan from AC Milan at the last minute.ทางเข้า UFABET

It was previously reported that Conte wanted Garnacho and the Argentine winger had accepted an offer. But an agreement with Manchester United was not close to being reached. However, Manna has dismissed the report as being contrary.

“There are other names that have not been mentioned in the media. We were working on Garnacho before Kwara left. We made a serious offer to Manchester United and it was very close.”

“However, leaving the Premier League in January is different to moving in the summer. He wants financial satisfaction and that is something we cannot provide.”

“It would be unfair to other players in the team who have a fixed salary structure,” Manna said.

Garnacho was Napoli’s top target in the winter transfer window. As the Italians sought a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian winger joined Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth €70m last month.
